Community leveling guides for RestedXP
Free leveling guides for WoW Forever and Classic Era, written by players and easy to fix when something changes. Every one imports into RestedXP: keep the addon you know and follow a route from the community.
How it works
- Pick a guide or a chain. Browse the guides by game, faction and level. A chain takes you from the starting zone onwards, 1 to 60 on WoW Forever for both factions.
- Download it for RestedXP. Open "Get this guide" and download the RestedXP addon, for one guide or the whole chain. No Battle.net tag needed.
- Unzip it into AddOns. Put the folder in Interface/AddOns/ and restart the game: the guides are in RestedXP's guide list. The guides of a chain are linked, so RestedXP moves on to the next one when a guide ends.
Why community guides
Written by players
Each guide is its author's, published under their name, with its steps, route and levels on its page before you import it.
Easy to fix
Something wrong or changed in a patch? Open an issue on the guide, or fix it yourself in the studio and send the change to its author.
Easy to make your own
Open any guide in the studio, change the route, and publish your copy. The studio checks the route as you write it: levels, prerequisites and quests out of order.
Versions you can follow
Every change is a new version with a message saying what changed. Copy the guide again to get the latest.
Questions
Do these guides work in RestedXP?
Yes. Every guide on LevelForge downloads as a small addon RestedXP loads its guides from, one guide or a whole chain at once, the way RestedXP's own guide packs install.
Do I need my Battle.net tag?
Not for the addon download: it works on any account. RestedXP's import strings only import for the Battle.net account they were made for, so the import string, still there under "Get this guide", asks for your tag. It is made in your browser; the tag is not sent anywhere.
What do the guides cost?
Nothing. Every guide on LevelForge is free to read, import, copy and change.
Are there WoW Forever guides?
Yes: chains from level 1 to 60 for Alliance and Horde, written for WoW Forever, alongside guides for Classic Era.
A step in a guide is wrong. What now?
Open an issue on the guide's page, or suggest the fix from the studio. When the author publishes a new version, copy the guide again to get it.
Is LevelForge part of RestedXP?
No. LevelForge is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by RestedXP; its guides use the guide import RestedXP has for any guide. LevelForge also has a free addon of its own, if you want to try it.
